Review of TOM FORD Neroli Portofino Body Moisturizer

Posted on December 29, 2014

We wrote a glowing review of the Tom Ford Oil-Free Daily Moisturizer and have continued to review the line. This time we are doing a product review on the Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Body Moisturizer.

The Neroli Portofino is elegantly presented in a teal colored tube with shiny gold silkscreen printing. The body lotion itself has a nice texture that feels very high quality and not cheap. The fragrance features crisp citrus oils, floral notes and amber undertones giving one a sensation of being in the cool breezes of the Italian Riviera. The scent is not overpowering like its cologne counterpart. And since the cologne is priced at $215 a bottle compared to the body moisturizer at $65 for 5 oz / 150 ml, buying the lotion is a more economical way to experience the Neroli Portofino scent since the lotion does keep its scent for hours like a perfume/cologne.

Key ingredients used are olive fruit oil, grape seed oil, and date seed extract.

The Tom Ford body moisturizer hydrated the skin very well and felt lightweight. But overall, we feel the product is overpriced in terms of what you get. It’s a great smelling body lotion with a Tom Ford name slapped onto it but there are many other effective body moisturizers out there for half the price. We recommend people to purchase the Neroli Portofino Body Moisturizer only for its scent.
