Review of OMOROVICZA Thermal Cleansing Balm

Posted on June 13, 2014

We had the opportunity to sample some products from Hungarian luxury skin care manufacturer OMOROVICZA. With history as far back in the 1800s, the Omorovicza story began when the healing properties of Budapest’s thermal waters, due to the unique combination of minerals found in it, were first discovered. Today the water is known to bring about “remarkable anti-aging benefits” to your skin. The product we are reviewing here is Omorovicza’s Thermal Cleansing Balm.

Omorovicza-Thermal-Cleansing-BalmThe Thermal Cleansing Balm is a one of a kind skincare product. As its name suggests, it works as a natural hydrating balm and as a gentle purifying cleanser that rids the skin of make-up, dirt, and grime. Harper’s Bazaar even awarded it the ‘Best Anti-Aging Cleanser’ title.

So what makes this cleansing black-colored balm so fantastic? It is infused with Hungarian Moor Mud rich in calcium and magnesium which helps keep skin looking younger and reduces acne inflammation. The sweet almond oil also leaves skin replenished feeling soft and silky. And of course the Hungarian Thermal Water delivers skincare friendly minerals deep into the skin.

After using the Thermal Cleansing Balm for two weeks, our complexion glowed and felt fresher and more vibrant. After each use, our skin felt amazingly clean unstripped of essential oils resulting in plump super-hydrated skin. No skin dryness occurred. No flaky blotchy skin patches. Our female staff found that makeup was easily removed by the cleanser giving them one less makeup remover product to use in their skincare routines. Scent-wise, it smelled exactly like the premium skincare product line from Audaca we reviewed here. It was a pungent masculine fragrance. Omorovicza states its product smells of orange blossoms.

Priced at $105 for 1.7 fl oz, the Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm delivers a hit award-winning product. The only drawback is the cost. Not many can afford or would be willing to pay a Benjamin for a tiny amount of skin cleanser. But really you get what you pay for. If you can afford it, we highly suggest that you come aboard with Omorovicza. It certainly is one of the best face cleansers we have used. Becoming fans now, we will be continuing our product review of their line so stay tuned!
