Review of CELLCOSMET Preventive Cellular Night Cream Treatment

Switzerland’s Cellcosmet SkinCare line for women is known for their advanced excellence in cosmetology. They claim their range is the pioneer in respecting “the skin’s physiological age” and “the hormonal identity of male and female skin”. So what this means is that each Cellcosmet product was developed to factor in the skin’s varying needs depending on the user’s physiological age and sex. One of their best selling face products is their Preventive Cellular Night Cream Treatment. Here is our in-depth product review of it:

Its purpose is to prevent the appearance of the first wrinkles in young females by revitalizing and optimizing the quality of cellular renewal, nourishing the skin which is more receptive at night, and rebalancing the skin’s natural functions and moisture levels. End result: an ultimate radiant complexion typical of healthy skin.

Now how does this “preventive” product work? The key is through their use of Cellcosmet’s patented ‘active stabilised bio-integral cells’ technology — cellular material (derived from Marine plant DNA, Kombucha fungus, and Swiss plant extracts) that is kept in its active state for months at a time maintaining their biological integrity and vital energy. Hydrolysed glycosaminoglycans is used to maintain the skin’s firmness and elasticity through active repair action. And Vitamins E & C provide the necessary antioxidant forces to prevent free radical formation to slow aging. To us, this all sounds too scientific for us to totally comprehend but it’s the Cellcosmet’s science of staying young.

We had two of our young female staff (both in their late 20’s) review the anti-aging night cream for 6 weeks. They both thought the product’s rich thick white cream was rapidly absorbed into the skin upon application and had a pleasing powdery floral scent. And both agreed the Cellcosmet night cream was a very efficacious night treatment in terms of providing potent hydration and an improved skin vibrancy. However, where they differed in opinion was how well it worked in preventing wrinkles. One did not seem to think this product inhibited wrinkle formation and one thought it slightly did. But really … is there a physical way to know if your first wrinkles that have not made its way onto your forehead and crow’s feet areas are being affected or being slowed down in any way? Aside from waiting till your 50 years old and seeing that you have no wrinkles on your face, there is no immediate way to see if this product “prevents” wrinkles from forming.

So the only thing we can really judge is how well this product conditions your skin. The product works, but I would not call it a miracle as the price tag suggests ($250 for 50 ml / 1.73 oz). There are many other treatment creams offering comparable revitalizing results and are more reasonably priced. But let us tell you that there is no better satisfaction than knowing that you are applying the Dom Perignon of preventive skin care onto your face. Since the Cellcosmet Preventive Cellular Night Cream Treatment price tag is very prohibitive to most, we highly suggest asking for samples at your local Saks Fifth Avenue before deciding to shell out mucho dollars for this wonderful moisturizing anti-aging face creme.
